Elite equestrian sport and family thrills, it’s Liverpool International Horse Show 2021!
Bringing the best names in showjumping along with a whole host of family entertainment to the heart of the city, the Voltaire Design Liverpool International Horse Show is back. Returning to the M&S Bank Arena for the ultimate new year celebration (31st December 2021 to 3rd January 2022), the world-class event will stage a fusion of elite level showjumping, captivating displays and performances to thrill the whole family.
Headlining the incredible line up of sport, the highly competitive world ranking classes promise a showcase in power and precision from top riders throughout the weekend, before culminating with the Old Lodge Stud CSI3* Grand Prix on Monday 3rd January. This year’s challenge will be set by renowned course builder, Louis Koninckx, who will be presenting the riders with all the necessary questions at every twist and turn of the course. With a strong field of combinations coming forward, the schedule of sport is sure to excite and inspire the crowd, providing a fast-paced and action-packed show.
New for 2021, the Windmill Farm Estate 7-year-old Championship will also be coming to Liverpool, placing a firm focus on the stars of the future. The first of its kind, this final will see the top fifteen placed 7-year-old horses from the Al Shira’aa Bolesworth Young Horse Championship contest the CSIYH* on Sunday 2ndJanuary 2022, with a warmup class taking place on 31st December. Alongside the qualifying places, there will also be an additional fifteen invitational places available at the discretion of the organiser.
Crowd favourites and novelty classes will also return in the form of the iconic red Puissance wall, Ride and Drive, Shetland Pony Grand National and the Eventing Grand Prix Final. Closing every performance with their supreme stunt show of daring acrobatics on horseback, the International Cossacks will delight and entertain the crowd with their thrilling display.
Alongside the sterling line up of sport and entertainment, ticket upgrades are also available to enjoy ‘An Audience With’ sessions with appearances including YouTube sensations This Esme and Megan Elphick and Eventing star, Ben Hobday. The Voltaire Design Liverpool International Horse Show will also welcome showing for the first time with the hotly contested LeMieux BSPS Mountain & Moorland Championships, which will see the very best combinations in the country come forward in pursuit of the supreme title.

General admission tickets are £15 for the daytime of the 31st December. Adult tickets for all other performances are available from £44.95 and child tickets (under 14) are £18.95. Family tickets (two adults and two children) are also available from £25.75. Optional ticket upgrades to see An Audience with This Esme and Ben Hobday can also be secured at £24.95 for adults and £19.95 for children (under 14), which are available to purchase after selecting your tickets.
